I woke up just in time to get ready for our Neverwinter Nights 2 session. Laz, Derelict, and MJO were pretty much on time, and we got set up pretty quickly. We spent the next several hours going through the main campaign and made our way to Neverwinter. We did pretty good, and got pretty far considering, but there is still a long way to go, and it doesn't seem like we can all get together again until the new year.
After our session, I went out on my bike to curl for our last playoff game. We were playing for fifth position since we somehow won game the week before. Things started off poorly. They other team only had two players show up, but they were still beating us. By the time the rest of their team showed up, they were up by two points. We got within one point with ten minutes to go, and they allowed us to have one more end. They had the hammer, and the advantage, but we had one clutch hit that gave us three points FTW!
There was one point I would like to bring up. I bumped into Zippy again and told him to leave some contract information. He said that he would come back before he left. He never did. (I'm thinking that he's avoiding us or something.) Oh well, MJO is not coming back into town this year, but next year..
After our game, I burned up north to go to TT's surprise birthday party. While I was making the final turn, I saw a police ride check stopping traffic the other way. One officer was at the median watching me go. I made a mental note to go the other way on the way back out.
I found the restaurant after a bit, and when I arrived, I was asked if I was with the all girl party. All girl party? Sure I wouldn't mind, but.. I didn't recognize any of them, and I found the other group soon enough. In fact, they were getting ready to leave so I was just in time. I sat around for ten minutes before we all headed out.
