I tend to get myself scratched up whenever I play ultimate since I tend to get down to the ground when I go for the disc. This usually results in a lot of abrasions and lacerations. Over the years, these wounds have taken longer and longer to heal, and the healing process has become more and more painful. Either that or my brain has blocked out all memory of the actual healing process and I am in fact feeling normal.
It still stings though. Ouch.

I had got up early this morning as I was planning to bring my car in to have it checked. (Finally!) I did actually get out of bed earlier than usual (about forty-five minutes) but I decided to cook breakfast, which required frying a bunch of.. uh.. turnip cake. I thought that would only take a few minutes so I spent some time doing some computer stuff. It took half an hour. But no fear, I was still early since it was only fifteen minutes longer than my usual prep time.
With great foresight, I had prepacked my hockey gear and loaded it in the car last night. Unfortunately, when I wandered down to the car, I noticed that the parking lights on my bike were on. I had left them on all night! Since I don't have my motorcycle keys on the same chain as my car keys, I had to go back upstairs to fetch them. After I turned off the lights and loaded the car, I realized that I had left my cell phone in the suite. *sigh*
I somehow managed to make it to work fifteen minutes early, which really isn't that early since I sometimes get in at that time on good days. Fortunately, I had given myself a large buffer of time to drop off the car so I was able to get to the dealership in good time.
I told them my list of problems (of which there were many) and picked up a loaner car (another TSX), and headed to work.

We have a new receptionist and she was never introduced to our office. None of us know her name so I went over to introduce myself and find out her name. So I went there, asked her name, and chatted for a few minutes. As I was walking away, I realized that I had forgotten her name! *smacks head*
Am I just getting old?

I found out the damage to the car was mostly in the rims and brakes. Apparently I had warped one of the rims which is causing the shaking of the steering wheel. I can drive around in it, if I don't mind the shaking.
I'll be looking for a new stock rim (or two). The retail price is six hundred seventy-five dollars (plus tax) so I'll probably be looking for used ones. So keep an eye out for them folks!
