It's supposed to be another crazy hot day today, but I figured that I wanted to ride anyway. I don't know if this is a good idea, but I was in no mood to argue with myself.
So it was hot this morning. The blazing sun didn't help matters much, and when I got to the parking lot, all of the shaded spots were taken! I had to settle for one of the (few) semi-shaded spots for my bike. I'll probably stay a little late at work so that it's cool before heading home.
When I walked into work, JYNC saw me come in and welcomed me with a
"Go go Power Ranger!"
Then when I walked into the office, I saw that Derelict was wearing the same shirt as me. (It was a company shirt, but still..)
I guess I have the case of the Monday's..

I didn't notice before, but my system was fairly slow. This came to a head on Saturday when we were installing a bunch of games for the LAN. I took a look at my process and my CPU usage was spiking. It would alternate between 50% and 100% after each breather. A quick search revealed that the print spool was using the resources. I didn't have time to track down the cause, so I just killed the process.
I did a quick check today and found someone who had a similar problem. I addressed the issue by deleting a bunch of local printers that I had installed but didn't use. It seems to have done the trick.

I got a call from the dealership asking me where I got my rear spoiler from. Apparently for their warranty claim, they need to prove that the spoiler that was attached to my hatch was not there when the car was sold, or something to that effect. But in any case, they asked if I could get someone to fax them a receipt for the spoiler, and I told them that it was a gift. Well, we'll see what happens.
