[9:25 AM EDT - It hurts more now.]

Crap! I knew I should have iced my foot, but it wasn't feeling bad when I went to sleep last night.

[2:16 PM EDT - Okay, where's that inspector?]

I thought the inspector was supposed to be coming today?

I got a webcam for my dad, but I need to test it out here and see if it works.

[Monday, August 7, 2006: I took the day off.]

I took the day off so that I could meet up with the condo inspector and get this warranty stuff done and over with. I went riding with SS in the morning since he had skipped off work as well. It was good for us since the weather was particularly nice today. We went looking for some body panel clips for my bike (since a whole bunch were broken off when I had the integrated light installed) and new gloves for SS.

Finding the clips were pretty easy now that I knew what I was looking for. I got a set that closely matched what I had and they seemed to fit well. I might still be missing one or two, but I should have enough that the bike won't fall apart that easily.

Finding good gloves at a decent price was a different story however. Apparently the sale that was going on wasn't much of a sale, so we hung around for a little bit before taking off. He wanted to meet up with a bunch of friends for lunch, but I had to make it back to my condo for the inspector so I had to ditch them downtown.

I came back and spent the rest of the day cleaning up. I waited, and waited. But still nobody came. I went down to the concierge to ask if anyone had come by, and was told that the agents were around all the time, so I went back upstairs and waited.

Still nobody arrived, and by the time it was six, I realized that something was amiss. Unfortunately, having the long weekend ahead meant that I wouldn't be able to find out what happened until Tuesday.

I did however, pick up a webcam for my dad. He was asking me to pick one up for him so that he could use it to talk to relatives in Canada and China. I found a good one: the Logitech Fusion webcam, which is good so long as you don't use the built in microphone. For some reason it crashes Windows. Joy. Hopefully they'll have that fixed soon..
