I was riding to work this morning and came across something for the first time on my bike: fresh roadkill. I didn't see it until the last minute when the car in front of me passed over it. Let's just say that it wasn't a pretty sight. It's a lot different seeing it close up rather than through the windshield of your car.
Also, the line up to get onto the highway(s) were huge! Traffic was backed up quite a distance and there were many instances of cars butting into line. There were quite a number of horns, and a number of dangerous merges (like a car and a van turning right onto a single lane). I'm pretty lucky that I wasn't near any of them.
Finally I was nearly at the office when I came across a car which looked kind of funny. The passenger had a lot of gadgets in front of him. When I saw the steering wheel, I realized that it was an import car and when I checked the back, noticed that it was a Nissan Skyline. Not too many of those that I've seen here. I didn't know that you were allowed to drive cars here where the driver seat was on the right hand side of the vehicle.

I got up early thinking that I had my orthodontist appointment this morning. Unfortunately I was wrong. I have four other appointments, but not for my teeth. As such, I forgot to put my elastics in.

I went to get my foot checked this afternoon. Apparently all I got was a bone bruise or 'stress fracture' of one of the bones in my foot. Apparently there's not much I can do for it now and normal use won't make it worse, so I'll take it easy for another week or so.
After my trip to the doctor (and setting up a physical which I have not done in several years) I went to the optometrist to take a look at my eyes. There doesn't seem to be any change in the state of my eyes and everything looks good to go. I've got another appointment in another six months.
After that, I headed to DE's place to sign a cheque. I stayed over for a while and chatted until DP came back home. He had walked out onto the balcony and shouted,
"Holy $#!^! Is that your bike?!?"
Apparently he didn't notice my jacket, boots, or helmet when he walked into the apartment. I found that kind of funny.
