[12:30 AM EDT - Flossing is good.. but takes too long.]

Ugh, I had some new hardware installed in my teeth during the last adjustment. I had some wires applied to the brackets to keep some of my bottom teeth together, and clear plastic loops to keep the top teeth together. It felt awfully tight when they were initially installed, but it feels okay now. It's just that they get slightly in the way of flossing and brushing, and in addition to the elastic anchors, have started taking up a bit of space between the wires and my teeth. We'll see how long these stay in place..

[2:16 PM EDT - Moving pictures.]

What about me? I wonder if I should move my photos off my site and onto a public server which has more bandwidth? I tested out the Live Spaces since KGL sent me an invite (which required setting up an account to activate). It's a little annoying since I can't figure out how to just say "go to this webpage". Rather than enter information on there.

Ah well, let's see what I can do.

[2:51 PM EDT - Sales can suck.]

I'm all for having sales on items. It gives me a reason to purchase something I sort of need. Unfortunately, sometimes the sales will also cause me not to get what I actually need. For example, I was in need of maple syrup one weekend. I found out that there was a sale on maple syrup so I went down to the grocery store to pick up a bottle. Unfortunately, there were none on the shelf, and after asking an employee to sift through the boxes (they were restocking at that time since it was near midnight), I found out that there wasn't any available (at least none that we could find).

I had to wait until the sale was over before I could buy some.

Last week I had the same problem with chocolate soy. There was a sale on for my usual brand of soy drink, and the shelves were empty. Argh! Ah well, I made do but it's still annoying..

[4:23 PM EDT - Just do it then!]

Why is it I always regret not doing things, but never regret doing things even if the outcome is more-or-less the same? Would it not be worse to have done some sort of action to come to an unfavourable conclusion rather than through your inaction end up in some similarly unfavourable situation? In the first part, you are at fault for your action which.. Well, it's your fault.

But if I did nothing and ended up in a bad situation or even a non-situation (like an inconclusive conclusion). Is it my fault that things didn't work out or we have to come back and revisit the situation?

I'm reminded of that moral dilemma that Laz had on his blog a while back. The one with the doctor and the railroad. Where the state of inaction is in itself an action in this state.

Argh! I hope I don't have to face many moral dilemmas.
