Hey now, I drove to work today because of the threat of rain. Mind you, that hasn't stopped me before, but seeing as the last time I drove to work was over a week ago (heck, I haven't driven anywhere in over a week), I figured that it was time to take the four wheeled behemoth out.
Okay, behemoth is a bit of an exaggeration, but compared to my bike, just about any car feels like a boat.

The inspector came by this morning. I had nearly forgotten about it until I got out of bed. (So I quickly cleared most of the dishes out of the kitchen.) The inspection itself took less than ten minutes. There were only two things that needed looking at.

Someone posted on the Markham Motorcycle forum that Future Shop has some crazy wireless optical mouse deal. One is for the Microsoft Wireless Optical Tilt Mouse - Mood Ring (due out tomorrow) and the other is for the Logitech MediaPlay Optical Wireless Mouse (on sale today only and at sixty bucks off!).
Uh, while I was ordering my mouse, the stock went down by a hundred (in about half an hour) and now the website is experiencing technical difficulties. Get them while they're good to go!

It's been a week and my foot still hurts. I'm wondering if I may have broken my foot (instead of pulling a tendon or ligament as I had initially thought).
I'll give it another week and have it checked if it still hurts. At least I can still drive and ride, which means that I can get around. So long as I don't have to walk.

I just found out that the rims haven't been sent, but the guy had some flooding issues, so I'll see how things go.

Durka had invited the group to his place for some.. Well, just to get together. He had no food and wanted people to bring food to his house. When I arrived there were only four people there. Two of which weren't actually riders. (Not that wearing bikinis and short dresses would exclude you from the riding club, but they weren't riders.) In fact, they seemed to be two girls who were only there to hang with Durka and were driven home soon after I arrived. I spent the next hour or so doing very little. I had gotten my hair cut before I arrived, but I still got to his house before eight. A few more people came and I got so hungry I went to get pizza. By the time I came back, there was a whole slew of people at the house, and someone else had already brought a party pizza and a stack of wings! (If I had only waited a few minutes..)
To drown my disappointment, I gorged on the food and spent most of my time sitting at the kitchen table stuffing my face full of pizza and wings while chatting with the girls. (Mostly stuffing, less chatting.) It was all good though. I met a bunch of people from the forum I hadn't seen before, and certainly got my money's worth in food. Actually, no. I had brought ice cream as well, so I did end up spending a lot on food.
In any case, I made R6_Chic very envious of me since she was watching me eat. Gotta tease those dieters! *cackles maniacally*
