[10:03 AM EDT - Chain Links: What is fast?]

Someone posted on the Markham Motorcycle forum a Subaru ad which I passed along to GWG. I don't know if it was posted anywhere originally so I just found a site which had it.

[12:53 PM EDT - This is why I keep a blog.]

I had just received my 407 ETR bill and noticed a charge. I have not used the toll highway in many moons so I was surprised to see the bill there.

After looking at the date and finding out what time the infraction took place, I looked at my blog and realized that it was when I had brought my car in to have it checked! I had wondered how they were able to check the high speed noise. Now I know.

There is a web cam that's on sale right now on BestBuy. Should I get it? Would I even use it? Do people really want to see my face? (Or the disaster that is called my room?)

Hmm.. but it is cheap..

[Monday, August 14, 2006: Bad foot hockey.]

I went to Windelynn's birthday dinner thing right after work. I figure that showing up in my bike gear would be okay since a number of other people would've come down on their rides. Unfortunately, I didn't take a very close look at the invitation which stated that the dress code was "smart casual". I had switched to my jeans and T-shirt for the ride and should have kept my Polo shirt on. Oops. Oh well, nobody complained, although it was your typical semi-expensive and not very filling meal.

It was good though. There were lots of people there, half of whom were part of the riding group. I recognized most off the people there, oddly enough.

I had to leave early because of my hockey game, so I missed out on some late comers. Too bad since I was expecting to see them there. Ah well.

I went back home, got my stuff, and headed out to hockey, arriving just on time. I wasn't sure how well I'd do with my injured foot, but apparently it wasn't a pretty sight. Actually, it was quite a comical sight as the first time I tried rushing for the puck, DC nearly fell to the ice in hysterics since I looked like some lame chicken. I ended up tiring out my left foot and pulled one of my muscles in my right thigh. I did okay considering, but I probably won't try playing injured again.
