Okay, it's such a nice day out there, and the weather's going to be pretty good for the next few days as well. Depending on whether or not the remains of Ernesto will come our way, we might have a nice weekend too!
I've been slacking on the updates, but I've been occupied.

Whoa, that was an interesting experience. It makes PT's outbursts and my shenanigans sane in comparison. I hope I didn't make things worse..
I made arrangements for a visit after work today. The timing was pretty good since I didn't have anything scheduled that night. Walking through the three double doors was the first indication that this area was fairly isolated, but considering the people they housed in there, I'm not all that surprised.
I've only known two other people who've had Lupus, but nothing as severe as this.

She was happy to see me; giddy even. I was a little worried that my usual antics would result in some sort of psychotic episode, but she seemed calm enough, and even lucid at times. (I was surprised that I wasn't reigned in.) It was a far cry from her usual self, but apparently she's improved a lot in the past few months.
I stayed for a couple of hours, which is more than the usual, but I wasn't in the room all that time. There was a comment made that the place was so depressing not because it was full of sick people, but because it was full of sick kids.
