[9:22 AM EDT - Another shameless Squishy plug.]

I got a message from Squishy about a survey on Playback Magazine and vote for her sister's show! (What It's Like Being Alone)

[9:45 AM EDT - Caveat Lector: Miller & Couch Ltd.]

Ugh, I got some more spam through the filter yesterday. The offer is one of the many job scams floating out on the net.

[9:55 AM EDT - Prototype Theory.]

I got e-mail from Madelaine for a "test". I fell into the 2% category but I may have changed my mind actually. I can't remember the first part but I certainly did get the second part. I said Green Hammer, but I might have thought Red Hammer first.

In any case, The Language Guy has a blog entry about the test.

[10:15 AM EDT - Chain Links: More Madelaine links.]

I got a whole bunch of other e-mail from Madelaine so I figure I'll just post them here rather than forward them. The first is a list of the number(s) of the beast, another is the five stages of hangovers, the third is a list of insulting jokes.

I also found a thread on Snopes discussing yet another forward I got from Madelaine.

[Sunday, July 16, 2006: After work party.]

We were given the opportunity to leave work early (at three) for a project completion party (not our project though), and although we were all up for it, our group didn't actually get out until much later (I didn't leave until nearly five).

I got to eat some food during the party, but I didn't want to gorge since I had a hockey game tonight. I stayed nearly to the end at which point I was talking with GG and we convinced each other to go and test drive a Subaru WRX. He told me that the dealership was on Markham road north of Highway 7, so I drove out there and couldn't find anything. I doubled back and got a call from GG telling me that the dealership was actually north of 16th avenue, but it was closed, so there was no point for me to go. Oh well.

I didn't have much else to do. I went to look for some ear phones which were on sale, but they were out of stock, and I ended up going to the arena extra early.

I played okay, although I had the same problem I had with ultimate: I had no energy. This was bothering me since it was a very close game. Hopefully this is a temporary thing as I have not been feeling bad, I have been eating well, and I have been getting semi-decent sleep.

It's quite peculiar indeed.
