[Wednesday, July 12, 2006: Parts are coming in.]

I got a call from the dealership informing me that the new hatch struts have come in. I'll be bringing in the car tomorrow to have them installed. I've been told that it won't take long. I hope not..

I also moved the mattress to my parent's place. They had originally told me to throw it out once I was done with it, but I figured that it would be a good thing to keep around just in case someone wanted to stay over (and didn't want to sleep on the couch). I had some space behind the couch, so it was (more or less) out of the way.

My parents have since wanted it back since they seem to have a use for it now, so after I pulled it out from it's hiding spot, I decided it was good time time rearrange the living and dining rooms.

The hard part was getting the mattress to fit into the car. With the rear seats down, I still needed about a foot more length to fit the entire mattress (the car was wide enough fortunately). If I moved both seats all the way forward, the mattress would fit, but driving would've been quite impossible. Fortunately the mattress is quite pliable so I was able to bend it in such a way to make it fit into the confined space and have enough room to fit me behind the wheel. It was a little hard to see though, but it got the job done.

After dinner I went to badminton and played a lot better than I have in a while. I was quite surprised. There were a few girls there at the beginning who were present for the earlier badminton session. But I don't think they had anything to do with it. No..
