I was planning to go to the optometrist after work today to take a look at my eyes, but we had a crazy thunder storm this afternoon and traffic was snarled during rush hour. What would normally have taken fifteen minutes took thrice as long to drive. In addition to the traffic, there was a bumper scratcher that happened two cars in front of me on an off ramp (and thus missed the light), there was also a car parked on the side of the same off ramp. There were no hazard lights on, and the driver had installed the Club on the steering wheel.
What the heck? There was no rhyme or reason why the car was parked there, and it caused traffic to back up onto the highway. Argh!
On top of that, I was in dire need to go to the washroom. I wasn't in too much of a need to take a leak when I left the office, but I had drunk a lot of water, and traffic wasn't going anywhere, so my bladder quickly filled up. I was running to the washroom in the mall when I got there, just to find the first one locked, so I had to run to the other end of the mall before I exploded in a cloud of urine.
I went straight to badminton afterwards.
