[12:07 AM EDT - Hào hàn.]

I'm supposed to look up my Chinese name for the next class and so I did a bit of searching and finally found how to write 浩瀚 in Hanyu Pinyin.

[10:47 AM EDT - Rain this afternoon.]

Ugh, I had wanted to ride today, but the forecast predicted rain this afternoon, and it looked bad enough just looking outside so I drove to work. At least I was able to bring in more food and drink to stock up on my growing cache of consumables and potables.

[5:50 PM EDT - I can't see it from the outside.]

I seem to have lost access to port 80 yet again. What's going on here?

[Friday, May 26, 2006: Sixty percent is not high enough.]

The meteorologists had predicted a sixty percent chance of rain in the afternoon. That forecast, coupled with the poor morning weather, had convinced me not to ride to work. Well, the afternoon came and the skies were clear and the sun was shining. When I left work the skies were clear and the sun was shining. While I was stuck in traffic the skies were clear and the sun was shining. When I got downtown the skies were clear and the sun was shining. When I saw the accident site the skies were clear and the sun was shining. When I parked the skies were clear and the sun was shining. When I got to class the skies were clear and the sun was shining. When I got out of class the skies were clear and the sun was.. down.

Just to add insult to injury, there were riders on the streets: Everywhere! While I was leaving work, stuck in traffic, driving downtown, at the accident, parking the car, going into class, leaving class, and going home, there were tons of motorcycles. I even saw a scooter!

*shakes fist*

I'm going riding this weekend for sure!

Oh, about that accident. I had arrived soon after the incident. Apparently a Civic (I think it was a Civic) had T-boned another car. The fire truck was just leaving and the ambulance was just arriving. It looked pretty messy, and added ten minutes to my commute.
