[12:23 AM EST - That's the sound of a man, shoveling the drive.. way!]

Okay, that was bad, but I just finished shoveling the driveway and I'm really tired.

I forgot to mention a couple of things from Thursday. First of all, I heard on the radio in an informal study made that 80% of women believe that a man is a good lover if he's a good dancer.

What? I don't know where that came from, but okay..

The second thing was that I was so stunned by the closing of the bar, that I forgot to turn on my headlights when I got back on the street until I got to the first intersection! Doh! (I guess it wasn't a freak incident the first time huh?)

[10:53 AM EST - Going to be busy.]

I'm not looking forward to today. That's kind of funny seeing as it IS the weekend. *sigh*

[12:52 PM EST - Like a fish out of water..]

Ugh, that was painful. I felt SO out of place when I got to the bridal show. (Especially going alone as it was.) Whoa, remind me not to do that again unless I have someone else to go with, so I don't look like some darned peabrain. It didn't help that I stuck out like a sore thumb with my bright blue jacket (which is two sizes too small for me - ah well, tradition!). There were a lot of good looking girls there though. *wiggles eyebrows*

But considering the topic of the show, my guess is that they're all taken?

[Sunday, February 8, 2004: Hawaiian surprise patrol.]

Oh yeah, the dance was okay. I was just a little surprised to see her dancing like that! Actually, one of the shorter girls looked pretty darned good and watching those hips jiggle.. *stares*

Oh, yes.. where was I?

Ah yeah, I couldn't stick around very long. I was supposed to show up at the hill because we were going to be short in the afternoon/evening. That was okay, since I doubt I would've seen her, and secondly, I really did feel out of place at the show.

So, I headed out to the hill, and was rather surprised to see that two people had already signed in for the afternoon. At three patrollers, we were doing pretty good. Then BM showed up and we were up to our full roster! A few hours later, SS and SP both showed up as well on the assumption that there would be no one at the hill, so we had plenty of patrollers that night. It was a pretty good group actually so I decided to stick it out to the end rather than head off to the game (so I was quite late).

Oh, our hut entrance faces the resort's septic tank, so on most days, it pretty much reeks out at the front whenever we're transporting patients out in front. One chatterbox we had proclaimed (in her high pitched voice),

"I think somebody farted."

as she was being transported to the car. You guys won't find it funny, but I wanted to write this down for posterity.

Oh dear, it was quite a good night actually.

Afterward, I headed home to pick up my hockey equipment and went to the game. Let's just say that we weren't doing well. To top it off, I had forgotten my cup, we only had nine skaters (including me), I was so tired that I fell during every play, and we were missing some of our best players. Great.

Oh well, there's always the next game right?
