[9:59 AM EST - Another week to start.]

Well, here we go with another week of work. The weekend went by way too quickly.

[10:45 AM EST - Payment's through.]

Well, it seems as if the payment for the water dispenser came through. Now all I need to do is cancel my insurance.

Hmm.. I just called in and found out that if I did cancel the insurance on my AE92, I'd gain.. $17 in credit! Whoot! I think I'll just keep it on huh?

[11:43 AM EST - More.. kut?]

Okay, I just found out that Jean-Guy is part of this orkut craziness. I was sifting through the lists on the site and came across this definition on the help list:

"Your crush-list helps to find out if someone else also has a crush on you. Your crush-list is only visible to you. However if you add someone to your crush-list and the same person adds you to their list, you both will get a message indicating that there is a match. The rest is up to you!"

I guess that takes the guess work out of it huh? Boy that can be dangerous..

I wonder if people are just inviting friends so that they can add them to crush lists? Couldn't they just tell them? (I guess it wouldn't really be a crush then would it?)

[1:10 PM EST - Dream Sequence: Dumping puppies.]

There's only one scene I remember from this morning. I was holding on to a small brown dog (like a beagle) on my lap and she started dumping over the side of the chair. I was at a wooden table with other people holding on to other dogs, but mine was the only one who was leaving a mess on the floor. On closer examination, I realized that the round pellets were actually puppies! I watched in amazement as puppy after puppy kept coming out until a dozen or so had come out. What the heck was I going to do with all of these puppies?!?

[3:40 PM EST - Spacer drive.]

For a guy like me on a budget (space and moneywise), finding new ways to add hard drives is always useful.

[11:25 PM EST - Printer good, CD-ROM bad.]

I came home and my dad immediately told me that the printer stopped working. After a bit of fiddling around, I found out that the computer's USB hub wasn't installed. I thought that maybe something happened and the drivers got messed up, but a quick glance at this page got me thinking about the BIOS. I remembered seeing a CMOS checksum error which wiped out the BIOS settings as well, so when I went to check the BIOS, I noticed that the USB hub was disabled. What the hey? After turning it back on, I was able to get the printer working again.

Unfortunately, the on board NIC and the CD-ROM both don't work anymore (the NIC never worked, but the CD-ROM did until just recently). *sigh* This computer is becoming more work than it's worth! At least I'm learning something in the process..

(I might leave it on and use it as some sort of peripheral hub so that my parents don't have to keep turning it on and off all the time.)
