Since I didn't have anything planned for tonight, I decided to make some muffins. I still had half of the mix that I had from the last batch so I decided to finish them off. (I think I still have cake mix from five years ago, but I'll have to look for it.)
I spent the remainder of the time watching hockey and driving the new car. Well, it's not my new car, but girl gave me a chance to try out manual!
<- stalls engine.
Oops. Maybe I should find another car to destroy?

actually, you did well - and stalling the engine is not that bad.. not nearly as bad as crunching the gears!!

Everyone stalls manuals at first - it feels hopeless, and then suddenly they're easy. Then you borrow someone else's manual with a different clutch and different engine power bands, and the whole stalling thing starts again...
