I went patrolling tonight. It was my last sheduled night this year (well, I think it is since the hill should be closed after this weekend). A good number of people showed up today. AE showed up with his GF and GF's roommate. I didn't get to talk to them since I really wanted to go skiing (in the terrain park). When I got back, they were all gone! How did I know they were going to leave early?
Anyway, after some tips from EF, I finally was able to complete a jump! Whee! All my previous jumps had me land on the flat part of the tabletop. Ideally you would want to land on the receeding slope to minimize the impact, but to do that, you usually have to be going at a fairly good clip. I wa always too chicken too. Well, now I know that I'm too dumb to go slow. Woo hoo!
I heard that ET and RM might not be patrolling next year. That's really too bad! How are we ever going to replace them? *rubs chin*
