Also, is anyone interested in playing hockey this summer? It's Friday nights and it's with the CAHL. I should warn you beforehand that we really aren't that good, and we do have an unwritten rule that the better players go easy on the weaker players (unless they get by you and score in which case it's open season =).

Well, not really. I just found out that I got my tax return. Too bad it's all going into getting a new car. Ahh well, at least it looks good while it lasts.

I got a new pair of skates. They weren't cheap, but they were on sale, so I figured that I might as well get myself a good pair that should (hopefully) last me a number of years. They're a pair of Vapor 6's and they're actually quite comfortable. Apparently they're also heat molding. The customer representative was pretty good, he told me about the skates and sticks I might want to look at. Of course he pointed out some of the more expensive sticks. (Carbon fibre blade that shouldn't break.) I'll wait until they're on sale before I pick one up (and after I get my paycheque).
Speaking of which, I got a raise. Just enough to offset inflation.
