I heard on the radio this morning that Fred Rogers passed away yesterday.
Oh, I also finished the Freelancer demo last night. It's actually quite addictive with the open ended style of the trading/job board. So long as there's more stuff you can buy with the money that you get people will keep trying to get more and more money in whatever way they can. As I alluded to before, this game is basically Privateer III. (Privateer II was a fun game.)
Badminton was okay last night. I didn't get to use that new stroke enough to get into the groove. I foresee many weeks of flubbing shots and missing spots.
Oh yeah, remind me to do laundry tonight.

ArsTechnica had a link to the Ogg Vorbis project. It seems as if they're getting some hardware support and picking up steam. This is a good sign. I wonder if I should start converting my collection?
Oh, and apparently flirting works if you're looking for a job. (As an aside, she looked like Puma at first glance.)
Finally, a Mech Warrior movie is in the works. Republic? What the heck? The only Republic in the Inner Sphere is the FRR, and I doubt they'd want to make a story on that rump state.

I ran some upgrades on my computers today. I figured I might as well get around to it since I was home tonight. I also did my laundry too. Never want to leave to falling too far behind..
Once the updates are done, I'm going to start working on my taxes. I've got just about everything I need now from all the stuff I've done so I should be able to get a good idea as to how much money I should be expecting next month. Hopefully it should be more than enough to pay for a lot of stuff I've got planned for.
Man, this update is taking forever. I should catch up on e-mail..
Speaking of which, I got word from PE about the upcoming roller hockey season. It should be starting in a couple of months and finish in August. While I'm here, I should remember that I've got patrolling tomorrow and dinner on Saturday to squeeze in between tutoring and hockey..

I was wondering why the batteries I threw into my camera last month died only after two uses. I popped the batteries out and noticed a large label on the side stating:
"Best if installed by Jan 2000"
