I was playing around on the laptop last night, and all of a sudden, the computer went into hibernation mode. I was so stunned when that happened since that would mean that the computer was unplugged. I checked the plug in the back. That looked good. I went to the socket..
I forgot to hook up the dol.. adapter. Crap. Plugging the adapter back in brought my machine back to life but the program crapped out on me. *sigh*
Oh yeah, happy Valentine's Day for all you non-single people. The rest of us single folks will be spending the night keeping busy, munching on Valentine's chocolates we bought for ourselves, and generally feeling sorry for ourselves.
Well, some single people are, I'm going skiing!

I was a little late in arriving at the hill this evening, and as I approached the resort, I saw a car that was off into a ditch at the entrance. I turned off the radio, pulled up, rolled down the window, and asked if they needed help. One of the guys (there were only two, plus a girl ) hollered at me to come and help, so I got out of the car and helped push the car out of the ditch. That's when we introduced ourselves, but I never did see them on the hill.
Considering that it was Valentine's Day, I was surprised to see so many people patrolling tonight (eight). The hill itself was basically empty, so AE and I made our home on the terrain park (which was where everone else was anyway). We even got BS to come out and do some jumps! (Fortunately we didn't get her killed like we nearly did with the half-pipe, although I did get a scare there when she fell.)
Ah well, it was a good night despite the cold.
