[3:40 PM EST - Ready for a new car?]

Hmm, I'm going to be taking a look at a new car this weekend. Well, it's new to me. It's actually a very old car, but that just means that I won't mind destroying the clutch! (Considering last night's fiasco.) I wonder if there are any good games out there that I can practice learning to use stick..

(I think Return to Alcatraz was one.)

[7:50 PM EST - Amended jump start.]

One the way out from the office, I heard a shout behind me and found G calling me over. Apparently he had left his lights on and drained his battery. I offered to jump start his car so I pulled up next to him. I had a lot of trouble getting my trunk open. The lever was really tight and when I finally heard the familiar *thump*, I found that the latch was suddenly very loose. Odd..

Anyway, we started to get the cables hooked up.. and I realized that I had a cap over my positive terminal. I tried to pull it off, but I was not able to budge it. G tried too but he had no luck either. We stood there for ten minutes trying to pull the darned cap off before some guy came along and asked if we needed help. He came by with a screwdriver and popped the cap off. (Duh.)

Anyway, we got the car started, and I was putting everything back together. I closed the hood and.. strange, it bounced up. *presses on hood*

It's not closing. We looked at the hood and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't lock. I went back to the hood lever in the car and noted that it was still very loose. Did I break something? Oh boy. After another five minutes of playing with the hood, I gave up and decided to take a look at it when I got back home.

When I got home, I noticed that the level felt a little more taut so I tried closing the hood again. *clunk* Geez, I didn't think it was THAT cold outside. Maybe I should add some grease there just incase..

I got mail today. It was from my bank. Apparently one of the T3 slips they sent me was amended. They had printed the numbers in the wrong boxes! Argh! I sent my tax return last week!

It seems like this tax problem is a yearly thing now.

[11:34 PM EST - Getting the goals.]

Wow, I had a good broomball game tonight. For some reason, our team was setting up amazing plays and passing like it was going out of style. It's absolutely amazing how our team clicked. Craziness.

I finally filled up my tank (gas and windshield fluid). Too bad I missed out on the cheap gas. Oh yeah, anyone hear of BMW's advanced driver program?
