[11:42 PM EDT - *yawn*]

Today was a pretty jam packed day. I should say what happened last night though. weirDo gave me a ride to the bus station so I didn't have to take public transit on the first leg of the trip. I did however have to take it on the last leg of the trip, so I got home fairly late. I didn't get much time to do anything, so I never got around to calling people up. I guess it didn't really matter seeing how busy my schedule was today.

The CN Tower climb was today, and I never got around to contacting KGL or TY so I didn't go up the tower with them. I actually couldn't convince anyone to go up the tower with me so I went alone. On the way to the registration area, I bumped into HaremPresident and his sister who were walking back from the climb! Wow! Fancy that!

HaremPresident got up in around forty minutes while his sister got up in half that time. I thought HaremPresident was in much better shape than that! (Although his sister must be in pretty good shape, and cute to boot.)

Waiting in line on the skywalk, I saw TY and KGL walking back from their climb. I guess they went with a large group since, well, they were in a large group! I caught their attention and basically said "hi" and that's about it. What else could I say? Well, actually I could've said quite a bit, but I really wanted to get back into line (or into the mob as it was).

So, I went up the tower. This time, I remembered the pain and agony I felt the first time I climbed the tower, and the reasons I made while climbing never to do this again. (Which I conveniently forgot after I reached the top.) Maybe I should've trained for the climb, but then I would've felt like I was cheating. I wanted to see what kind of shape I was in. I remember doing the biopsy thing on the bike and how I had to go at 85% for fifteen minutes. That was agony. This was worse, but fortunately I wasn't forced to go at a specific speed, I did get to slow down on parts to catch my breath. Anyway, it was in the same stairwell I took last year, and the time I got this year was: 17:48. Fourteen seconds slower than last year.

The main difference I remember from last year was that I actually ran up the last few flights of stairs the first time I went up. This was because I didn't know that there were still a few more flights to the observation deck! This year, I knew better so I took it easy up the last forty steps. Maybe I should've ran instead. Man that's embarassing.

Anyway, I got my shirt and I got home. I got myself a haircut and I was able to contact MPS. She took me out for lunch and we talked for a couple of hours. Hmm.. we tend to talk about the same old things every time I come back to visit. That's probably because I see her three times a year and forget what we talked about. Now who's fault is that I wonder?

Found out that the guy waiting to get his hair cut after me had a sister who's doing her masters in CS at UW! I'll have to look into that.

I also found out that my scholarship doesn't count as earned income, so my RRSP contributions for this year are actually two-thirds of that last year. What a gyp.

Went to my cousin's birthday party for the rest of the night. Free food and meeting people you don't see in a while is always a good thing. Not much to say on that front, people don't change too much I guess, except for Nat, much more social this time around.

Well, it's time for me to go to sleep. I'm tired and I need some shuteye.
