[Monday, August 9, 1999: The return of the wanderer.]

BSB went out to develop the pictures he took that morning. Although there were still a few pictures remaining on his unfinished roll, we took basically all of the doubles from the photos that he got. Laz took one of the best tho, it had Laz, me and MJO standing next to one of the dinosaur skeletons at Drumheller. Each of us had a different facial expression. Made me laugh out loud when I saw it. Must get copy..

BSB also drove us down to the airport. We got there with plenty of time to spare, so I was able to mail off most of the remaining post cards I had on me. I was a little annoyed that we had to pay an "Airport Improvement Fee". Ten bucks? Yeesh.

On the flight back, I realized that I had forgotten to call my parents to tell them which flight I was taking back to Toronto. The question remained.. would they show up anyway to pick us up, or would they wait for the call? Hmm.. I asked one of the flight attendants, who told me that there were no phones on that airplane. Crap.

I also forgot to mention about the soap while I was in Vancouver. Well, not the soap in particular, but the water. I don't know about you, but I hate feeling all soapy after a shower, and the water down there couldn't get the soap off worth crap. Had to really scrub before I actually felt clean. Ick.

There are a number of notes here that I jotted down, which I probably shouldn't write up here, on Laz's suggestion. I will mention one thing tho, the lady next to me found out that we were from Toronto and asked if there were any good places to eat down there. I didn't know anything so I told her the truth:

"Well, my mom makes really good food.."

She laughed really hard at that. Even Laz was rolling around a bit in his seat. I still don't know what's so funny.

We made it to the airport around one in the morning and I gave my parents a call. Crap, someone picked up the phone. Crap, they were home. Taxi it is! So that was how I got home (after dropping Laz off at a subway station).

Will you ever post it? Will I ever see it? Have you talked to her lately? I WANT DETAILS! *bangs fist on table*

Nope, it's quite unlikely that I'll ever post that story Laz. Sorry!
