[9:31 AM EST - Driving Conditions: IFOs.]

I was driving home last night and got behind this car that seemed to be in a rush. As he pulled away, I noticed two objects that flew away from the car and swerved to avoid them. They fluttered through the air like two planks of wood and they shattered into many little pieces when they hit the ground. I'm guessing that the guy did not clear off the snow and ice from his car before driving. When he started picking up speed, the wind broke off two foolscap size pieces of ice from the car and blew them into my path. Imagine what would have happened if I had been closer and it was a larger piece of ice, like those you usually see falling off one of those transport trucks?

Not a pretty site it would be.
