[7:37 AM EDT - Vulcan neck bench?]

Ugh.. my neck is killing me. I can't turn my head without feeling pain, and some actions will cause me to cringe in pain. Riding is out of the question, and driving is dangerous. I'll see if I can stretch it out, but it's hard enough trying to type..

[9:53 AM EDT - Staying home.]

I'm going to be staying home until my neck and shoulder gets better. I had a fitful sleep last night because I couldn't move without sending shooting pain down my neck, and that tends to wake me up pretty quickly. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up on sleep this weekend because I haven't been getting all that much sleep this past week..

[5:30 PM EDT - Not much better.]

I was hoping that I'd be feeling better by now, but I'm not feeling a whole lot better. I can go out and take the bus, that shouldn't be a problem.

[Sunday, June 18, 2006: Wŏmen xià kè le.]

Today was the last day of Mandarin class. There was a sort of a pot luck at the beginning of the lesson (which I missed part of since I showed up late), and I munched on some snacks and fruit to satiate my hunger.

Then we were given some time to go over our scripts and make some last minute changes to our short plays. Unfortunately, our group had only one copy of the script, and we spent most of that time looking for a usable photo copier to make other copies of the script.

It went fairly well though, although I believe that our skit was probably too long (and not very understandable). It was all good though, we all had a good time.

Afterwards, a few of us went out for food at a nearby Thai restaurant (the waitress was cute). We had a nice long chat before I got a ride part of the way home.

[Sunday, June 18, 2006: Like a tank.]

Oh, when I arrived to work today, RM found out that I wasn't able to turn my head and told me,

"So, you're going to be like a tank today?"

He and the other guys in the other room devised a plan to drag me out to lunch to a restaurant with a patio and lots of good looking women walking by, just to watch me struggle..

But I brought my lunch.
