[Monday, June 12, 2006: Mostly Chinese riding.]

It was yet another fantastic day for riding, so I wasn't surprised when I got a call from SS asking me if I was up for a ride. So I figured that I could take the time to go and check out Satay on the Road. Unfortunately, I didn't check the map before I left the apartment and I wasn't able to find the Bayview location (I ended up going down Eglington). Then when I went to the Avenue location (which I knew was there) I found out that the place didn't open until four! Argh!

I guess serendipitously (for girl), girl called just as we found out that there was no place to eat, and we arranged a lunch somewhere else.

SS and I got quite a number of stares when we got to the restaurant. But I'm getting used to it now. (I had a lot more stares at the Eaton Centre yesterday and one guy even came up to ask me questions.)

Afterwards, the two of us went riding up North for a bit before heading home, and I spent the rest of the day (and night) working on Chinese homework. I'm still not done. (That's what happens when you miss a week of classes.)
