I was driving home this afternoon and was listening to the radio as usual. I switch stations a fair bit but I usually sit on Z103.5 and something caught my attention. The DJ started giving a personalized message to some girl on the phone. After the first sentence, it was obvious that it was some sort of marriage proposal, so I tuned out until it finished and the music started again.
After the message was given (and the proposal was made) there was silence. Then she said,
"He's.. my best friend."
OMG, this is not going to end well. Poor guy! (Poor girl too.)
Oh, traffic was bad on the way home but there was a clump of traffic behind two minivans that were driving next to each other. I thought they were just conserving gas since traffic was basically stopped in front of them (there was about a fifty meter gap) but as I passed, I noticed that the drivers/passengers were talking to each other. From what I could tell, they weren't all too happy with each other either. I decided to keep my eye on them just in case something happened, but at these speeds, I doubt there would be any damage done. After a few more minutes, they broke up and went their separate ways.
