[9:29 AM EDT - Frosty, slippery highways.]

I got out this morning and noticed something on my car I haven't seen in a long time: frost. Oh boy.

That black knight stuff I rubbed on to my dash is still on there, all shiny and slippery. The slipperiness caught me off guard when I put the transponder on the dash: it didn't stay. Every slight turn I made with the car resulted in flinging the transponder from one side to the other side of the vehicle. I couldn't find any spot to plant the device so I left it on the seat, only picking it up when I came near one of the gates.

The highway is also starting to get quite congested. When I started working out here many moons ago, the ride was quick, empty, and smooth. But recently the roads have felt bumpy, the highway is congested, and my travel times have doubled. *sigh*

[9:33 AM EDT - How to dismantle an Atomic RSS.]

I've been putting together some sort of RSS (and Atom) feed. The RSS one was pretty easy, while I'm still working on the Atom one. I haven't tested them yet (nor validate them) but I'll get around to finishing them when I have the time.

[3:19 PM EDT - More wedding pictures.]

There are some wedding pictures that Dangerman and girl took. Hmm.. mine are in there too..

I wonder where the other pictures are?

[9:37 PM EDT - RSS yes, Atom no.]

I've rewritten my feed so it's a bit more amalgamated. Unfortunately, it's still a little messed up with the Atom feed, but at least it defaults to RSS. I can't seem to get it working though. Anyone want to try it?

I'll expand on it as I figure out what the fields do. Hopefully I don't break compatability though.

[10:26 PM EDT - Feed reader.]

Cool, I found a nice feed reader which has a good example of RSS as well. This should give me a good base to work with for my ongoing changes to my RSS/Atom feed.

[10:35 PM EDT - A database would work better..]

Actually, now that I think about it, it would be better for me to set up a database before putting more work into the RSS/Atom feed. Right now I've got to jump through some hoops to get this thing working the way I want it to work (right now it doesn't work the way I want it to work). So if I leave it as a bare bones thing until I get around to setting up a database..

Bah, I'm tired. I'm going to bed.
