Ugh. I tried installing SP2 yesterday and when I rebooted the machine ended up with the BSOD with a message stating that there was some sort of page fault in the non-paged area. So I uninstalled the update and decided to work on it today.
Well, I tried reinstalling it this morning and again came up with the same problem. This time, I tried uninstalling the display driver, net support (which failed) and the antivirus program. No dice. In fact, after I uninstalled the service pack, my resolution is now only 969x768! Argh! Now I've got this black bar on the right hand side of the screen.
It's really annoying and I don't have time to work on this anymore. (Annoying!)

Squishy sent me a link (which she got from PY) on the origin of the Jack and Jill nursery rhyme. But I did a bit of searching and came across another possible origin and then a website with a bunch of possible origins. As I'm no historian and I have no real sources, I won't say which one sounds the most likely, but they all sound interesting.

Okay, this is really bugging me. Next time.. I think I'll do what I want to do rather than do what other people want to do. It doesn't always pay to be nice.
I did a quick search and found an interesting script which I could use to produce my thumbnails on the fly. This should reduce the amount of time spent making those thumbnails and space used to store them. This all depends on how long these thumbnails take to be resized of course..
