I ended up coming across the "Gunsmith Cats" manga, and I decided to check it out since I remember Derelict mentioning something about it.
After going through a couple of volumes, I realized three things:

I decided to come out and watch the ninjastars play in the year end tournament. I knew that they had an early game and a later game, and since I woke up late, I figured that I'd watch the later game.
I arrived at the field and was a found out that they had already played their two games! Apparently they had played their second game early so I was lucky that I was able to catch them at all. I met up with Squishy, and her team was doing really well. We watched them for a while but everybody was itching to go, so we didn't see their last game.
We (LY, Pokey, ASH, LD, and LDD) had planned to eat pho but the restaurant was closed on Sundays! We ended up relocating to another pho restaurant and had a hearty meal on the patio. We walked around a bit to pick up some fruit and some pastries (I nearly ran into a pole while trying to take apart a spiky fruit).
