[10:25 AM EDT - One quarter gone..]

Oi, we're already a quarter of the way through September! What the heck is up with that? Time sure does fly when you're busy.

I was able to do most of the setup of the computer last night, but I plan on installing office. Once I'm done with that, I'll be ready to bring the computer back.

It took a little longer than I had anticipated, but I think I've got a way to retest my other board..

[11:48 AM EDT - What do I feel like eating?]

Our group of people out here always have a problem with it comes to lunch: We don't know where to go, and nobody is willing to choose.

We had planned to write up some sort of lunch script, but that sort of fell through the cracks, and we haven't gotten any closer to an acceptable solution for our lunch problem. We've resorted to having the last person at work make the choice for lunch, which sort of promotes early arrival, but I was stuck in traffic on the way here so I was pretty much screwed.

So.. where should we go and eat today?

[12:21 PM EDT - Hands up!]

I was talking with BW at ultimate practice on Sunday and he was a little concerned about my coughing. He told me to,

"Put your hands up in the air."

Put my hands up in the air?

"Put your hands up in the air!"

Put my hands up in the air!?

Anyway, he told me that it works with kids. I'm not sure if this is a real remedy or some old wive's tale, but it seemed to work, if only because I was too embarassed to cough after putting my hands up in the air..

[2:05 PM EDT - Is this an urban legend?]

I got an "RCMP Bulletin" from SW about the possible use of camera phones to harvest credit card numbers in checkout lines. I tried following it up and found this article on the topic.

[2:29 PM EDT - So that's why the blinders are in..]

Well, apparently the thieves are pretty darned sophisticated. I was looking up the entry for the ATM copiers and was surprised at the authenticity of these objects.

[Wednesday, September 8, 2004: Last ninja comeback.]

I read on the news forum that LY was planning on filming yet more footage for the So Cut DVD. Since I didn't have anything planned tonight, I figured that I'll show up, cheer on the team, and get some more airtime.

I arrived halfway through the game and was told that it would probably be to dark to take any video after the game, and that I should've come before the game.

<- blinks.

What?!? But the message.. He said that.. I thought.. *sigh*

So the video idea was dropped, but I don't feel so bad. ZanZan also showed up, and she was even later than me, expecting some sort of video thing for the DVD.

I threw the disc around with ZanZan a bit while the ninjastars won their game (I decided not to join in since they had enough players). ZanZan told us that AC had come to town and wanted to go out for dinner.

I had already eaten, so I wasn't really up for more food, but since so many people were up for dinner, I felt compelled to join in.

We had originally decided on St Louis. but the place was packed, so we went to Milestones, and then the Firkin.

After food, we went home.
