[9:23 AM EDT - Time to concentrate.]

I don't have time to update now since I've got a lot on my plate. Hopefully nobody will e-mail me in the near future..

[12:21 PM EDT - Very curious.]

I've been given an errand. I don't remember talking about it before, but apparently I'm the only person who can help. Damn, sounds like some strange RPG mission.

[12:28 PM EDT - A buck twenty!]

I know, I know. Lotteries are taxes on those who can't count. But.. everyone else was doing it so..

We actually won a bit of money this week, but apparently TT paid for my ticket, so I had to pay him back, and I needed to put in money for next week's draw, and that left me with: $1.20. Not bad for doing nothing!

[1:18 PM EDT - Surprisingly coherent.]

Wow. It's amazing how e-mail can totally change one's perception of a person. They can be completely timid, unassuming and non-confrontational in person, but suddenly become some sort of social butterfly with a backbone when conversing over the wire. (That and the fact that you can't hear accents on e-mail.)

[3:23 PM EDT - This is getting fishy..]

Strange one place says one thing and another place says another thing.

I called up insurance for my windshield and they told me that all I would need to do for the claim is to go and give the claim number to the body shop and they'd do the rest. I called up my dealership and they told me that I'd have to pay up front and then have to make a claim with my insurance. Then I called up my insurance again and they told me not to pay up front and go somewhere else, and now I'm really confused.

I'm wondering if I can cancel my appointment now?

[4:57 PM EDT - Internal burning.]

We just had an interesting conversation with MCC about the French language and how some letters are not really used. The examples we came up with are "H" and "W". "H" is usually silent unless following a "C" while "W" is actually only used with words borrowed from English or German. (And yes, we mentioned that it was a "double u" in English and a "double v" in French.)

Another thing I didn't realize was that the French "X" is actually a "Greek I". (I guess I never really listened closely when I was going through the French alphabet.)

Oh, this all started when MCC started saying things that wasn't exactly what she meant. Like being condemned to eternal burning, turned into being condemned to internal burning. The list goes on and on..

[Friday, September 3, 2004: Badminton at dinner.]

I had a dinner thing with my grandmother and relatives. Well, it was a pretty small dinner actually I was only expecting four or five people to show up. I was a little late becuase I was looking for a bank to deposit my cheque. Instead of going to my usual branch(es), I decided to look for one on the way. I was unsuccessful. In fact, I went out of my way to look for one when I realized that there wasn't any along the way. But I still couldn't find one, and I was already late. *shakes head*

Anyway, I arrived at the restaurant and started looking for the group, when I heard my name being shouted out:

"[QYV]!"

I turned in the direction of the voice and noticed something moving out of the corner of my eye. I didn't put too much thought into it as I saw the table, but then I heard another voice next to me shout my name:

"[QYV]!"

What the..? I turned to my left, and right there was PT and his family!

*blink*

What were they doing there?!? So I said hello, and stuff before walking over to our table (which just happened to be right next to their table). JW, Windelynn, and girl were there already with my grandma and the only person missing was dangerman.

The food was pretty good, although we got way too much food. Not too many big eaters at our table.
