Argh. I found out a couple of quotes for replacing the windshield and the prices are fairly high. (It was $490 at one place, and $380 at another place.) I'm going to see if it can be repaired rather than replaced, but I'll also see if I can get a quote from the dealership as well.
Then they invite one, and then they invite..
Oh well, this might become an interesting lunch.

The machine that I got from KW seems to be done like dinner, but I should be able to salvage the parts on it. The motherboard doesn't seem to work, although I can't tell if it's the motherboard or the CPU. The CPU is a PIII 500, which is a tad bit better than the C300A I've got sitting in my spare system, so I think I'll be upgrading that bad boy since the BH6 board should support that CPU.
Let's hope I don't blow something in the process. *crosses fingers*

I've been trying to get my machine to work for the past hour, but it seems like a couple of the prongs on my power connector are loose. Every time I try pushing the plug in, these two cables will slip out. I figured that one of the prongs was out of place so I decided to nudge it back into position. That took a long time and eventually I reefed on the thing. Now it's pointing the other way and I can't slip my paperclip in to pull it back! Argh! *tugs at hair*

Tonight was a fun hockey game and we had tons of people show up. JH and FL brought their other team to play and basically doubled our attendance. The game was fast paced though. I ended up playing on the better team and they rotated fairly quickly. But we had three full lines so I didn't feel all that tired afterward.
I talked to FL about the windshield and he told me to talk to some guy at the dealership. I'll have to remember that.
