[6:26 PM EDT - This is the time I need catch up.]

Squishy sent me a link to the list of past Ig Nobel winners. One which caught my eye was the study on the 5 second rule.

I just got back from my trip. It was pretty good and I got to meet a bunch of folks I haven't seen in a while. Right now I'm awfully tired though. I blacked out on the way back from Guelph, but I did get off the highway to take a half an hour nap, which was just enough to get me home. I think I'll just go straight to bed..

[8:12 PM EDT - I forgot about the..]

Hmm, I forgot that I needed to wash some clothes, so I'm spending some of this time catching up on stuff before I hit the sack. (Boy am I tired.)

[8:36 PM EDT - Guelph.]

I got up at a pretty good time. I had plenty of time to wash up and pack before our checkout time. (Which was at eleven in the morning.)

The plan was to have a group breakfast at the Golden Griddle (yuck) before going our separate ways. Unfortunately, I had plans for lunch in Guelph so the 10:15 eating time, knowing that kids were involved, was going to cut it close. My fears were justified when I realized that nobody knew where anyone was, or if everyone knew where to meet up. It took half an hour before anyone started heading out to the restaurant (like me) and by the time we started sitting down, it was already eleven. I figured that that was a good time to go, so I headed out.

The drive was really nice. There wasn't all that much traffic and the weather was good. I got a call on the way there asking where I was, and I was able to say that I was "On my way". (Although I was about an hour away.)

I ended up missing the exit because traffic got crazy busy at the one moment and I got distracted by this one crazy (woman) driver who was speeding down the highway. By the time I had realized that it was the intersection I wanted to get off on, it was already way past..

Otherwise, I had no problems finding the place. It was nice and cozy and fairly spacious. We had meat pie for lunch and since I was still hungry, polished off some leftover fried rice. (Hey, I didn't have breakfast okay?) It was good catching up on things, since I usually don't get to see them, but I had to go eventually, so I took a video, a picture (and discovered that we ended up coordinating our clothes for some reason) and some honey (wasn't that sweet? Okay, that was really bad) and then headed home.

The drive back was a little more dangerous. I parely remember anything from the trip. Most likely it's because I wasn't very concious for most of the drive back home. Probably a combintion of the lack of sleep, large meal, and rather boring drive back into the city. I was forcing myself to stay awake as I entered the city and realized that I was becoming a hazard when I started weaving back and forth, so I got myself off the highway to take a quick nap before continuing my journey. I probably should drive with a passenger more often..

I made it home in one piece though.

[9:25 PM EDT - Some memory.]

I was just handed some thirty pin memory. This might allow me to turn that P90 into something useful..
