[9:37 AM EDT - Where's Laz?]

Hmm, it seems as if Laz's site is down. That can't be good. Seems like he's trying to install a database.

[2:32 PM EDT - An alarming fire.]

Actually, we didn't have a fire, but I heard some strange beeping noise coming from the kitchenette. I turned to look inside, and noticed that smoke was coming out of the microwave, so went into the room, saw that the microwave was off, and opened up the window to let out the smoke. Apparently someone had been making some popcorn in the microwave and had set the timer for three minutes (the directions stated five minutes). By the time I had the window open, someone had opened up the microwave and smoke began billowing out of the machine. It took us several minutes to clear out the contents, and we're still waiting for the stench to go away. Ugh.

Nobody was hurt fortunately.

[3:36 PM EDT - Useful Debian comments.]

There were some good things about Debian on this thread which I'll have to look into later.

I think I'll hold off on making any more website updates until I upgrade the OS.

[4:11 PM EDT - Too far away.]

I got a call from Pokey about some Nike sale going on but apparently I'm too far away to participate! Argh!

Waitaminute.. I've already gotten new cleats, so what else would I need? *rubs chin* Maybe they have a line of jeans?

[11:11 PM EDT - New Don in town..]

Since I was the late one to work today, I got to choose where to eat. I had originally wanted to eat Indian food, but MF didn't want anything expensive, so I suggested the Italian place we passed by when we went to Subway/KFC/Harvey's. This restaurant was stuck in the middle of a teeny plaza and it seemed a little out of place. I thought it was a sitdown restaurant, but not a fancy one. Whoops.

We got inside and I realized then that we'd be paying more for lunch than our usual fare. We sat down and looked at the menu. The prices were a little high, but it all looked so good! So I ordered the linguine with white sauce, and it was so yummy! It was definitely worth the money, but I wouldn't want to eat there all the time. *looks at deflated wallet*

[11:21 PM EDT - Back to badminton.]

I finally went to badminton again after a two week hiatus. It seems like the rest did me well. I was hitting well and making shots. It's funny what a couple weeks of rest can do?

Towards the end, I started to get tired and went back to my horrible hitting ways, but it seems as if there's anything I need to work on, it's endurance. Now what's the best way to build up endurance? (Especially if you're lazy?)
