Yes, it's the beginning of a new week, and it seems to be getting cold fast. I didn't bring a lunch today, so I should start looking into finding some place to get grub..

Actually, the page load times are about three times as long when using the automatically generated thumbnails rather than the original thumbs. Hmm.. these times will be reduced if I upgrade the server, so I may just go ahead with the change.. (It'll definitely reduce the number of folders I need to keep track of and images I have to make.)

I've got two Gmail accounts. One is for my sport related mail (which is pretty darned crazy at points) and the other is my backup/soon-to-be-spam type account. The funny thing is that the one I use more often seems to be getting more options more quickly than the other one is. (Like mail forwarding.) Am I a guinea pig or something?

It's slow, but the thumbnails are now automatically generated from the original images. The resizing isn't half bad either, but it does bring the system down since it takes so long for my server to crunch those numbers. Fortunately, I have very few people who actually look at those pages, so I think I'll be okay. If traffic increases, then I'll look into upgrading. Until then..
In other news: Argh! I was so engrossed in this little project that I had completely forgotten about badminton! *shakes head*
