I decided to spray my jacket before going to work this morning. It's such a nice day that I wanted to spend some time in the sunshine before heading out. I'll need to make two coats on my coat but I think I should have time to make the second coat tomorrow after I come back from the hill.
Then I should be able to wear it on Sunday when it's nice and warm!

Ahh, I think prompt magic is what I was looking for for my bash prompt.

Well, that was useful. Spent nearly two hours on the phone to find out that a problem wasn't even our fault. Yikes. There was a divide by zero error which was traced to a rounding error which was blamed on us. But nothing was changed on our end. It came to light an hour later that something was changed on their end. Argh! Now I have to figure out what the heck I was supposed to do here..
So never believe anyone who's said that "nothing's changed" if something goes wrong. Something must've changed for something to go wrong..

Hmm.. it's quiet right now. I came back from my oil change after lunch. The car feels fairly good. I didn't get it washed though. I'll have to do that tomorrow (and get my hair cut).
Anyway, back to work..

Since I'll be commuting a bit in the next month, EC suggested that I go and get myself a transponder for the highway. I figured that it was probably a good idea, and since one of the booths was near my house I decided to go and pick one up before I went to patrol.
I checked the web site to look for locations for these booths (I had seen them before, but I didn't know if there were any other locations available) but I couldn't find any information on them. Undaunted, I went to check it out anyway assuming that they were open the same hours that the mall was open. I got there and I couldn't see the booth. I checked the store map and sure enough, it was pointing to where I was located.
I decided to ask someone working there and she told me that the booth had moved and that there was a sign posted. So I went to look and sure enough, there was a sign directing everyone to go and register over the web (or by phone). Curses!
The shift tonight was fairly uneventful. We had a visiting patroller show up, which was good since we needed the extra help.
