[12:14 AM EST - Abakt.]

I was looking for a way to script a backup of some of my documents so I don't have to keep doing it manually, and I came across Abakt. Unfortunately, I don't know if I can schedule it to run just when the computer is shutting down..

[12:25 AM EST - On shutdown..]

Ah, I was wondering how to script a shutdown sequence.

[9:50 AM EST - A little slow..]

My connection's going to be a little slow for a little while. That's a bit annoying. Hopefully "a little while" is really just a little while.

I spent most of last night going through those "Oriental Heroes" synopses. Ahh, brings back memories..

The new colour scheme is very useful. I can actually see the text without squinting now!

Okay, back to work. Hopefully I won't fall asleep or anything..

[10:49 AM EST - Maybe there should be another?]

Hmm.. one basket isn't enough huh? But then I'd have to ask, how many more? And whom?

[11:20 AM EST - "Too busy" means..]

You know what? I've been using "too busy" as an excuse a lot for the past.. many years. I know I'm not the only one using it as an excuse either.

If one thinks about it, the statement "too busy" really implies that the person is too busy for that activity, or that event, or you. The reality is that whatever that person is doing at that time is more important than the other thing that happens to be at that time as well.

Some people will try to please everyone by spending a little time with everyone, but then not everyone will be satisfied. I know some people who try that but there are so many hours in a day. Eventually we have to make a choice: What do I want most to do at that moment? (Or what do I hate least to do at that moment?)

So the next time someone tells you he/she's too busy. Ask what they're doing. You'll quickly find out where one's priorities lay from a few simple questions. ("Doing laundry?!? How could doing laundry be more important than a Leafs game?!?")

[3:04 PM EST - The power of 13.]

I forgot to mention some thing about the game on Saturday. First of all, since BL was unable to play, someone came up with the great idea of taping the number 13 on all of our jerseys (left shoulder) for inspiration. GOAT showed up to bring the cup and wish us luck despite not playing with us (he had to study - what an excuse!).

We ended up going into the game with nine skaters. After we had started, BL and KC wandered into the arena! They weren't playing of course, but it was good to see them.

After the game, WK ordered two horlicks and ended up sneezing one out all over the table! I had tried to put that incident out of my mind as he got my dinner pretty good (me too) but as long as I don't get sick..

[4:20 PM EST - What am I dreaming about?]

Hey, I didn't notice the dreamweaver thing on the CAHL website. But anyway, how the heck did I end up dreaming about Yohko?
