I've been invited out to play ultimate on Sunday! Woot! Apparently the weather's supposed to be sunny and warm (nine degrees, but that's balmy for this time of the year). I've been itching to throw the disc for the past couple of days (considering how good the weather was) so this should good to burn off a few calories..

On the way to hockey, I took a different route than usual. There was a car that kept up with me so I didn't bother cutting him off to make my usual turn. So I ended up doing the roundabout way of getting to the rink (which made me that much more late for the game). However, at one intersection, I noticed a police cruiser that had just pulled into a parking lot next to a building. There was another cop car there already, and I saw that there were cops staking out the place with their flashlights cutting through the darkness. I watched the spots of light dance over the building's walls when I realized that one of the spots was exceptionally large. That's when I noticed the helicopter that was hovering over the building. My music was loud so I couldn't hear the chopper, but I was amazed as to the severity of this hunt. As I rounded the corner, I watched as one of the policemen cleared out the perimeter of the building. I didn't stick around long enough to see what the heck was going on though..
The hockey game was okay. I didn't play all that well and I tired out quickly. There weren't as many people there as I had expected. Some people didn't show up, so DeeL and MasterStorm both could've come to the game..
Afterward, a thick fog had descended over the city. Good lord it was hard to see! It was fun (albeit dangerous) to drive through though!

Well, the XP machine has been put back together and now I'm working at installing 98 on the other computer. Hopefully I'll get most of it done before I go to ultimate.. *looks at clock*

I drove down to the field with my moonroof open. Who would've thunk? Especially this late in winter no less! In fact, it was hot in the car..
I got to the field and saw that it was actually full of people! We had twenty odd people show up, so we had a pretty good game. There were a number of neophytes, but we had a pretty good game. BMH, PL, PY, LY, TM and Squishy were there. (Actually, Squishy brought out half of the group! Very persuasive she is.)
Afterward, I headed up to the reunion party at AMY's place. That was fun. I got to see everyone again after yet another year's time and took lots of videos (although not a lot of pictures). Madelaine persuaded me to buy a calendar as well. (Well, she could probably presuade me to buy my own shoes if she wanted to.) I got a ride in SLWD's new BMW, and then got a ride back home with KH and DeeL.
