[2:24 AM EST - On a dime.]

Oh man, I forgot to mention that on my drive downtown, I nearly rear ended someone. I had looked off to the side at a car that was pulling over, and in that moment, the car in front of me stopped. So I did a panic stop (I had no space to manuver) and stopped on a dime. I like my brakes!

[4:07 PM EST - Upgrade time!]

I got some drawing from VC on last night's party. I think it's supposed to be BMH and I know what he's saying, but I'm not so sure what the context is..

Anyway, I'm upgrading the kernel, and installing the new hard drive now..

[5:49 PM EST - Only 64.]

Argh! I thought I had installed 96MB of RAM on my server, but apparently I had four 16MB sticks installed. I think I might have mixed up the chips when I was playing around with my machines, so I gave away one of my 32MB SIMMs. *hangs head*

Oh well, at least the server's back up to 96MB, and things are back on track. The hard drive is installed and all I need to do is make some minor CMOS changes, and I'll be back up and running.

I haven't installed the hard drive on the OS yet, but I'll wait until I put Debian on to figure out what to do with it.

[8:49 PM EST - Ooh, I knew I forgot something.]

[11:25 PM EST - No call.]

Hmm.. I'm having major issues with Call of Duty. Namely, it doesn't run well on my laptop. I'm getting some annoying graphical artifacts (textures coming up as black) and I've come to a point where it's so black that I can't continue the mission. I might just remove the game altogether. Besides, it's been sucking up way too much of my time already..

[11:29 PM EST - Snowy patrol.]

I got up early despite my alarm not going off. Apparently the alarm did go off, but the radio wasn't working for some reason, so there was no noise. Fortunately, the hill was opening up late (which is why I volunteered for the early shift) but the weather had taken a turn for the snowy, so by the time I got out of the house, the roads were covered. Combine this with my summer tires, and the very slow drivers on the road, and it was a recipe for tardiness. I actually didn't have trouble driving fast and in control, but a lot of people were being very cautious out there.

Well, I got to the hill later than I had wanted to, but fortunately SP was already there so my absence wasn't noticed.

Not much happened this morning, probably because of the weather, but it made the runs pretty good with fresh powder!

On the way back home, I got a call from girl telling me that she and Dangerman were on their way to the hill to do some snowboarding and if I wanted to join them. *looks at growling stomach* Umm.. no.
