[12:01 AM EST - Last month.]

Well, it's December. Time sure flies doesn't it?

[10:13 AM EST - Sweet iced tea.]

I forgot to mention something on Thursday. I had ordered iced tea for lunch, and when I got it, it tasted very.. tea-y. After I had drunk down to the bottom, I noticed a thin layer of sugar crystals. That's when I realized that the restaurant didn't actually have "iced tea" but had to put it together themselves! (I guess not too many people order it? Or is it just because it's a bit more classy?)

Also, in the paper this morning, I saw a picture of a couple of executives of Sandisk holding a sign in front of the NASDAQ billboard. On the sign, it said something to the effect of 15 years of excellence. Just below, it showed the dates:

1998 - 2003

Heheh. Excellent indeed.

[10:38 AM EST - No lang and no name.]

Well, as always, I find out the hard way that some things have changed with the DOM. XHTML 1.1 drops the name attribute so I've got a bit of editing to do..

[11:20 AM EST - More selection criteria.]

Hrumph. I found out some other things needed fixing. There's more info here.

[12:42 PM EST - No id numbers.]

Sucky. I can't seem to use ids that start with a number. That means all of my date anchors are illegal. Nice. I've got more fixing to do..

[4:16 PM EST - This is getting a little ridiculous.]

Apparently my hard drive STILL has not been ordered. *drums fingers*

How do you like them apples?

[6:08 PM EST - ..and the future looks brighter.]

The scent has returned. It has invaded my thoughts, coming back to taunt me again and again. Seeping from my memory and oozing into my conciousness. Tempting me to reach out and strive for the unattainable. How can I go on this way?

How long will it take for me to forget?

[8:48 PM EST - Mostly fixed.]

Ahh, I just spent the past couple of hours fixing my scripts and validating my pages. I've got a lot more checks to do, but the majority of the pages should be okay now. Whew!

Now what I need to do is to figure out why this site doesn't work exactly in the other browsers..

[10:45 PM EST - Winter breeze.]

Well, it's a bit chilly out there. I just got back from badminton. Not all that much to say, but I'm awfully tired. I should get some sleep. Hopefully I'll be able to get my system up and running soon (once I get my new hard drive). I really should look into getting that replacement controler board though..

[11:13 PM EST - Next step: Remove the tables.]

Now that I've got everything (basically) validated as XHTML, I can start removing something I never liked using: tables. Tables were meant for showing tabular data, not formatting pages. Once I have the time to figure out how to get the layout right, I might be able to actually play around with the format without much effort!
