[8:53 AM EST - This is Payne (too).]

I installed Max Payne 2 on my laptop and it seems to run fine. (I had installed Halo but the laptop didn't have direct draw enabled so the game wouldn't run.) The game's a bit more disjointed than the first game, but it's still interesting. They've added a lot more goodies to the engine and the scripting, but who has time to notice those things? (How long do they expect a player to sit in front of a TV to watch all of these shows?)

I knew I had a music thing I said I was going to, but it was so hard to pull myself away from the game once I got into it..

Fortunately, the gig was late at night (PL wasn't supposed to play until 12:30) so I was able to turn off the computer around 10:30.. which gave me plenty of time to make it downtown.

I guess not having a computer doesn't stop me from playing games huh? Hopefully this one will be fast. The first one was.

[9:02 PM EST - The Fall of Max Payne.]

I just finished Max Payne 2. It was short, like the first one, and pretty straight forward (like the first one). Nothing really new in this. They did have some protection missions, and switched views, but apart from that, nothing much. At least I can get it off my system now.

Ultimate today was pretty good. We were playing in an indoor driving range, and the field was hard. I've played there before, so I knew what to expect. I actually played moderately well, and got a lot of running in.
