We headed up to Ottawa right after lunch. I spent most of the morning finishing up on some e-mail and making sure that I didn't forget anything important. (Although I did end up forgetting to bring up nightwear - which kind of sucks in the wintertime when it's cold unless I happen to be with an attractive girl.. but I digress.)
The trip up was fairly uneventful, and we made it to the city without any incident. We were a little early. The plan was to arrive between six and seven. We got there before five. (Something about wanting to leave at 12:30 might've had something to do with it - although we left half an hour "late".)
But we got to see people again and there was lots of food. LOTS of good food. So many cakes too! Mmm.. I'll have to find out how to make these cakes because they're just so yummy!
So yeah, spent most of the night listening to stories from the "old times" and getting caught up. Not much else to add to that.
