[11:46 AM EST - Bland Revolution.]

I went to watch "The Matrix: Revolutions" last night with LY, Pokey, and a couple of LY's friends. The plan was for LY to pick up tickets for me, and then I'd grab them once I got to the theatre. I made my way to the theatre and quickly rushed up the stairs and was stopped at the checkin point. I gave LY a call and he told me to meet him in front of theatre one. That's when I told him that he needed to meet me at the front. That's when he asked me,

"Are you in the right theatre?"

*blink* I asked the attendent where the theatre I was supposed to go was. He told me that it was further up the street. Doh! *slaps forehead* I was really cutting it close, and I had ten minutes to find my way back down to the car, pay for parking, find parking (again), and then rush into the theatre.

Great.

Fortunately, the attendent was able to validate my parking stub, so I only had to pay a dollar for parking, and I rushed back down to my car. I found the other (right) theatre fairly easilly, and entered one of the underground receiving entrances. That's when I realized that I had come in through one of the cargo loading areas. Curses! Where the heck was parking? I was able to drive around down there and then ended up going out the entrance ramp for the underground parking. A quick little U-turn and I was back into the underground parking and I found myself a parking spot. This time I made it to the right theatre, and LY trotted out with my ticket. Whew! Just in time to watch the commercials..

Oh, the movie? Much less interesting. I can't believe I paid money to watch it! *shakes fist* Oh well, here's to hoping that "Return of the King" lives up to expectations. *raises mug*
