Oops, I had forgotten that there was a birthday lunch going on today. Fortunately, I didn't have a large breakfast as I usually do. Strange that. Maybe it was a subconcious choice?

I got some free digital photos from MB who won it from one of those coffee cups. Anyway, I had a few pictures I wanted printed out so I headed off to get them done. I was thinking of putting the pictures onto my flash card, but every time I turned on my camera, the data kept getting deleted. In the end, I threw the pictures onto a floppy (I only get five) and headed out to get the pictures printed and my hair cut.
I reached the photo store and went up to the digital printing machine to see what I could print. Hmm.. I don't see a slot for a floppy disk. This isn't good. I turned to the proprietor and asked him if the free pictures were valid, and if I could use a floppy disk. Well, the photos were indeed free, but they didn't have a floppy drive, so he suggested that I put the photos on CD. Argh!
So I headed home, popped the pictures onto CD (I needed to make a CD anyway) and headed back to the photo store to get my photos developed. One of the employees came up to me to help me with the computer. When the images were loaded onto the machine, I noticed that one of the pictures I wanted printed was not on there. Doh! I had copied the wrong files! I told him that I had my pictures on a floppy, but there was no drive. He told me that they could've copied it from one of the computers in the back.
*blink*
Really? Why wasn't I told this before? *looks for floppy* Oh crap, I had left the disk at home. Fate is conspiring against me! *shakes fist*
I decided to just print out one of the photos that was on there already. It's not as good, but at least it wasn't as blurry. I got the photos printed and headed home..
I never did get my hair cut..

Hmm, I'm thinking of pushing some of the components of this site over to the client side. Running some of these scripts from work are sometimes painstakingly slow! *rubs chin* I'm just wondering what I can move that won't be too obvious..
