Well, that explained a bit. I've been invited out to SS's cottage this weekend with the rest of the Vermont crew. I doubt I'll be able to make it for the whole thing but I'll probably try to drop by on Sunday.
I went out drinking (well, iced tea for me) with the Vermont crew tonight. Apparently they've been going to the same pub every week ever since that dinner thing I went to a while back. The reason why I didn't see them last month was because they were probably downstairs that week (I didn't know there was a downstairs part) and ironically enough, it was the only time that they were downstairs. *sigh*
Ah well, it was a pretty good time anyway. The entire crew showed up so it felt.. cliquey..

Ick. The scab on my knee has definitely dried out. This makes bending it a bit of a chore. At least it's not sticking to my pants anymore.
I'm out at a client site so I can't go out and try to pick up some tickets for that Stones concert on the 30th. Rumor has it that U2 will show up, but that just might be hype to get tickets sold, not like they need any more hype methinks.

I was just checking to see if the CD-ROM works on the old machine and it seems to be putting along fine! It's a Toshiba XM-5702B. Which is twice as fast as the CD-ROM in BEGghILOS2.
Hmm, I might just switch them so that I can install Redhat 9.. My current CD-ROM can't read burned CDs well and I've upgraded the server sufficiently to be able to run the OS. Oddly enough, with that change, the only parts of the system that are saved from the original server would be some memory, the network card, the video card, the hard drive, and the floppy drive.
Okay, time to go to hockey. I hope my knee and elbow hold out.
