[9:35 PM EDT - Well, that just sucks.]

I went to badminton this afternoon and was a little surprised to see a bunch of the group standing around outside the gym. As I approached, I noticed that the nets were very low (touching the ground) and that there were different people in the gym and that they were holding paddles and they were hitting a ball..

Waitaminute! What's going on here?!?

Apparently we don't have our badminton spot on Wednesday afternoons anymore. Nice of them to tell us.

[9:56 PM EDT - Strange sounding funds not being updated.]

Argh! Something's wrong with the company that's keeping track of some of the funds. (Which includes the funds that I own.) Apparently they're either not updating them, or their things is broken. I'm not sure what it is, but the price has been stuck for the past few weeks now.

Oh yeah, someone changed the ringer for the new phone. It now sounds.. weird. Apparently my mom wants it that way. It's.. ugh. I definitely did a double take when I heard it the first time. Maybe it's less jarring to the.. bah! It's weird.

[10:05 PM EDT - News Bytes: This is a lot.]

I went by ArsTechnica and came across a number of interesting links. The first is about a new 17" laptop! Ooh! These suckers are going to make desktops look small! Then there's Netshare and a pentaquark which doesn't sound very stable to me. (Aren't they just glueing a baryon with a meson?)

On the ShackNews side of things, I can speak all I want and not have to worry about being held responsible for what I publish. Then there's the hack attack predicted for Sunday. Would that be a code Orange?

[10:13 PM EDT - PBEM.]

I got word from Growly about some game called Tradewars 2002, and Laz sent me links on Laser Squad Nemesis, the Lord of Destruction, Warcraft 3, and an interview on Halo on PC with a warning not to smell bad.

[10:56 PM EDT - If I could only read my own writing.]

The last book. The little brown book. Argh.

Anyway, I've got ultimate tomorrow and hopefully I'll be sufficiently healed by then from last week's injuries to play effectively. I haven't had any exercise since Saturday! That's a long time!
