[1:22 AM EDT - Long night.]

Ugh, I got back home about an hour ago. I'm tired. I'm going to sleep.

[10:27 AM EDT - Dream Sequence: Wormy explanation.]

I had a fairly long dream, but I can only recall two parts in detail. The first is about some x-rays that were taken of my chest area. The guy who was doing the x-rays basically held up some sort of paper behind me and pressed a button. Seconds later, an image magically appeared on the sheet of paper revealing a long worm that was inhabiting my chest cavity. They needed to take the worm (which was coiled up into a nice bundle) out of there. It should be easy since no internal organs were in the way. When they took a second picture, it revealed that the worm had started travelling into my intestine, which would make extraction much more difficult.

I found myself walking around in some town where the back of the houses had this little alcove and stairs leading down to the ground. Within the alcove was a pan sitting on a large bottle of water, and something else. I couldn't recall. I distinctly remembered being in China, so when someone asked me what those objects were for, I told him that the water was for an emergency whenever water service was stopped, and the other object was used in cases of power outs since brownouts and blackouts were common, like at that moment. Seconds later, the power grid came back online.

[10:46 AM EDT - The cheque's in the envelope.]

Yay! I got my claim's cheque just now. That should help in paying off that rather large eyewear bill. I should also go and fight that ticket today, and I've got some pictures to post.

I scraped up my knee and elbow during ultimate yesterday. It stung a bit in the morning but (according to VC) I got a little TLC when I got the band-aid put on at the game.

I'm nearly settled here in this new office. I've got a fair bit of cleaning up left to do, and I've got less desk space than last time, but at least it's cool, it's bright, and I'm not claustrophobic.

Man, this knee scrape is really annoying. I've left a stain on my pants. Maybe I should've covered it up, but I really get annoyed when I try taking it off; especially when the gauze has bonded to the wound. Not to mention the tape sticking to hair. Pulling off the tape from hair is a chore in itself!

Ah well, I'll just suck it up like a (Whoa!)man.

[2:53 PM EDT - The triple H again.]

Hot, hazy, and humid. Actually, it's not that bad out there so long as you don't go about running around in the sun with a parka.

Whew! Then again, not having air conditioning would do it too. Ick.

So I went to set a court date for my ticket. Apparently it'll be six to eight weeks before I might get confirmation. Two months! Argh. I'm not even sure if the car's going to last that long..

[3:59 PM EDT - My card..]

Hey, I just got my business cards. I never had business cards before. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them. One suggestion was to write 52 on the back and play pickup 52. *thinks* Nah.

Geez, this means that i have to start giving these out which means that people will be able to find me. Bah.

[10:03 PM EDT - Badminton farewell.]

Well, we had a little going away dinner for TN. Actually, it was a little smaller than I thought it would be. Only MC and I went. (I agreed because I thought there would be more people. Oh well.)

So we went around looking for a place to eat until we sat in some food court and chose by elimination. (Most of the restauarants were closed at that time.)

Getting that court date set was actually quite easy. The place was easy to find, and looked pretty brand new. It was a little hot, but the air conditioning helped. There wasn't anyone in line either so I basically got there, sat down, filled out the form, and left. Man, if only everything else was easy..

[11:07 PM EDT - News Bytes: Science and.. more science?]

I fount a whole whack of interesting links on the ShackNews today. (Well over the past two days I guess.) The first has some cool pictures of the Earth. I remember seeing another such composite a number of years back. It would be really interesting for them to put together some sort of time-lapse movie to show the changing look of the Earth as the year (or years) progress..

There's also a story of Constantine's vision, and a nuke story that reminded me of a movie I saw some time back.

Finally, there's always this. Who gets to do this type of research anyway? Like those guys who got to study high school cheer leaders? *shakes head* I'm in the wrong field.
