[12:02 PM EDT - Scene Survey: In limbo.]

Hey, I decided to check out HaremPresident's Live Journal and came across Dante's Inferno Test.

The Dante's Inferno Test has sent you to the First Level of Hell - Limbo!

Here is how you matched up against all the levels:

Level Score
Purgatory (Repenting Believers) Low
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers) Very High
Level 2 (Lustful) Moderate
Level 3 (Gluttonous) High
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious) Very Low
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy) Very Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics) Low
Level 7 (Violent) Moderate
Level 8 - The Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers) Low
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous) Low

Yay! I escaped purgatory! Waitaminute..

[12:07 PM EDT - Hockey Paddy.]

I seem to keep forgetting things. If this is a sign of old age, then I'd hate to see what my memory is like when I'm 64.

Anyway, Laz, PLP and I went to have lunch and took a "short cut" (although it's really the same distance as the "long cut"). On the way back from lunch, we saw a couple of dudes wearing white food processor type clothing dumping some strange yellow stuff out the back of one of the buildings. Laz was wondering what they were doing. Were they making cookies?

From the yellow colour of the stuff they were throwing out, the only thing that came to my mind was "paddys". So when PLP went up to one of the guys to ask what they were doing, he told us:

"We make paddys."

No way! Well, I know where I can go to get a box of paddys then..

Hockey went fairly well. I played better than last week but I'm still playing poorly. Actually, I remolded my skates before the game (which helped with the left skate) and I decided to loosen up the right skate so I didn't suffer as much. It still felt funny, but at least I wasn't in severe pain. Once I figure out the best way to lace up, I'll concentrate on skating again.

[12:13 PM EDT - Dream Sequence: Washroom amusement.]

I remember a bit about last night's dream. I was wakling around on some fair grounds in bare feet. There was a lot of broken glass and other sharp objects on the ground so I was walking slowly. I could hear someone singing in the distance and walked towards that group of people. I recognized the song and started singing along since I knew the words but I can't seem to recall the song now. The people were from my high school and they were doing some sort of planting. There was fresh sod in front of the group, and some bare ground where the group was. I went to look for a washroom and wandered away until I found signs pointing to one. I went downstairs and I entered the door which said "Men" and had the male washroom symbol in front.

I went in and this woman came out asking if I was John. Duh.. no, but why were YOU in the men's washroom? I turned around and saw someone else who came in and thought it was "John" but on closer inspection, I realized that it was a woman! (A short haired, masculine woman, but a woman no doubt.) The person behind her was also a woman, so I decided to head out to one of the exits. Upon exiting, I saw that there was a sign at the door that indicated that it was a woman's washroom (what the hey?) and as I stepped outside, I found myself in a different part of the amusement complex. Crap.

[1:54 PM EDT - Dust blows.]

To remold my skates yesterday, I used my hair dryer to heat up the molding. Before I turned it on, I decided to peel off the dust from the back filter. I haven't done it so long that it came off in huge strips. Not very appetizing I must say. Anyway, when I was drying my hair this morning I nearly knocked myself over by the force of the air coming out of the hair dryer. It caught me completely off guard. No wonder why taking the lint out of the lint trap from dryers makes that big a difference!

[1:55 PM EDT - Text tables.]

I realized that my table parsing script for converting from HTML to text isn't quite working. Well, the table conversion itself works, it just that I can't find some of the tables some times (like on journal entries). *sigh* I guess I'll work on that tonight.

[7:52 PM EDT - Karenluk.com.]

Ha ha! I see that KGL's gotten hold of karenluk.com (I still remember the old karenluk.com *laugh*) and Sugarcoated is on version 5! (And blue hair!) That girl's been busy.

[9:06 PM EDT - Pre-tables.]

I seem to have fixed the table issue and the pre-formatting issue that I just found as well.

The practice puzzle test was pretty easy. I wasn't able to do one of them however. (The corral one.) Each of the puzzles has a certain trick to it, namely that there is a way of thinking that you have to follow and the solution becomes much more straightforward (if not trivial). All you need to do is to practice and remember those tricks.
