[11:35 AM EDT - Bye, bye. Automobile.]

Well, we finally gave away the Cavalier. We're down to four cars now. (Which is still one too many. Although one is never driven, one is a company car, and one is a beater.)

I finally finished "Tigana". It was a pretty good read. One aspect which made it interesting, yet more difficult to read was the amount of detail Kay put into the story definitely fleshed out the characters and added considerable colour to the world. However, it does get a little locquatious, and there's a bit more sex in there than I had expected. *shrug*

Anyway, the next book on my list is Asimov's "Robots and Empire".

[Sunday, May 4, 2003: Works of Fart.]

I decided not to go to roller hockey today. I figured that going to play, plus getting cleaned up afterward meant that I'd miss out on most of the good food, so I decided to head off to JW's party instead.

Boy was there a lot of food. I always wonder why I don't eat as much when I'm at some party with a lot of food, or when I go out to a buffet to eat. I guess the food doesn't seem as valuable when there's so much of it so I'm not actually compelled to eat it. Could that be a secret to dieting? *thinks*

Speaking of dieting, I brought my chocolate cake over to share with the rest of the family. It went over fairly well, especially with KarmicMayan who had a number of slices. That girl has nearly a bad a chocolate addiction as I have! Although it may not be a good thing. *rubs face*
